SpaFix collects minimal data to operate the service. We collect session usage data (message counts, session counts) tied to your IP address for rate-limiting purposes. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us.

• To enforce free tier usage limits
• To improve the quality of AI responses
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. AI Conversations

Messages you send to SpaFix AI are processed by Anthropic, PBC via their API. Conversations may be used by Anthropic to improve their models in accordance with their privacy policy. Do not share sensitive personal or financial information in the chat.

4. Photos and Documents

Photos and documents you upload are sent directly to Anthropic's API for analysis and are not stored on our servers. They are used solely to generate your AI response.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

SpaFix uses browser local storage only to maintain your session state during your visit. No third-party tracking cookies are used. We do not run advertising of any kind.

6. Data Retention

Session usage data (message counts tied to IP) is stored in server memory and is reset when the server restarts. No conversation history is stored permanently.

7. Children's Privacy

SpaFix is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SpaFix, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

SpaFix provides AI-powered hot tub and spa repair guidance for informational purposes only. SpaFix is not a licensed repair service and does not provide professional engineering or electrical advice.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

SpaFix provides general guidance only and is not a substitute for a licensed spa technician or electrician. Always consult a certified professional for electrical work (240V wiring, GFCI, heater elements), gas systems, or structural damage. Never work on a plugged-in spa. SpaFix assumes no liability for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from repairs performed based on guidance from this application.

By using SpaFix, you expressly assume all risk associated with any repairs or maintenance performed based on guidance from this application. Know your limits — if a repair feels beyond your skill level or comfort zone, stop and consult a licensed professional. Some repairs involving 240V electrical systems, gas lines, or structural components should only be performed by a certified professional regardless of the guidance provided here. Failure to proceed in a safe manner can result in severe injury or death.

4. Fair Use Policy — Personal Use Only

The Pro (Individual) tier is licensed for personal residential use only. Each subscription is limited to a single household and up to 2 devices.

Commercial use of the Pro tier is strictly prohibited. "Commercial use" includes but is not limited to: use by repair technicians on customer equipment, use in a repair shop or service business, resale or redistribution of AI-generated content, and use by any individual or entity charging fees for spa repair services.

Pro is for individual residential use only. Commercial use by repair services is subject to account review and may result in suspension. Businesses requiring commercial use should contact us at info@spafix.app regarding our Commercial tier.

5. Commercial Tier

The Commercial tier is designed for professional repair businesses and technicians. Commercial users may use SpaFix for client diagnostics, multi-client management, and business purposes as described in their plan. Commercial use without a Commercial tier subscription is a violation of these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through VPNs, multiple accounts, or other means
• Use the service to generate harmful, misleading, or dangerous repair advice
• Reverse engineer or scrape the service
• Share Pro access codes with others outside your household

7. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to SpaFix. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with SpaFix is the property of SpaFix. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable law.
